Who am I and How can I Help You?

I'm Sinéad and I am a Women's Wellness & Cycle Coach.

I help burnt-out & disconnected women step off the hamster wheel of always-on hyperproductivity, all-or-nothing health, and patriarchal modes to embrace a way of living that supports their cyclical nature, and leaves them feeling connected to their bodies, deeply nourished and at ease with themselves.

How I got here

It all started first and foremost with my own experiences of body dysmorphia, burnout, anxiety, messed up cycles, and complete disconnect from my body.

I denied that hippy, artsy but also sporty inner child and went head first into the corporate world, leaving myself overworked, stressed out, and never feeling like I was good enough. I was totally ungrounded and relying on external validation to feel worthy. During this time, I rekindled my love of movement and took a leap of faith to retrain as a Movement & Health coach.

I pivoted into the exercise world, focusing on female athlete performance, pregnancy & postnatal training, and women's health whilst secretly exploring the energetic side of cycles

It was at this stage that I saw a flicker of what I was meant to do in my career.

Bridging the Gap

I felt like there were two camps in the Women's Health/Menstrual Cycle world: one science-driven & one spiritually-driven.

I was bridging the two - I cared as much about understanding the physiology of how our reproductive cycles worked as much as I felt the draw of connecting with our Feminine Power at an energetic level.

I now realise that this is the beauty and the power of what I do: the weaving and the merging of the science and the sacred.

My work is here to reimagine, to redefine and reeducate myself and others on:

What it means to be a well woman and a healthy, happy human
What it looks like when we move from a place of balance & connection
What it feels like to embrace all aspects of ourselves to let our authentic selves shine
What can happen when we flip the narrative of what it means to be a woman

My Credentials:

You’re never too old to follow your dreams.

After completing my BA in Art History and MSc in Business Management, I worked for number of years in a big Management Consulting firm and then a Tech Start-Up in the areas of Marketing, Design Thinking & Product Management.

Then, one day, I realised that I wasn’t fulfilled by my jobs. I liked solving problems and improving user journeys but I wasn’t making any positive change in the world. So I decided to revisit my teenage dream of working in the health & wellbeing space and here we are…..

My Teachers

I've had the honour of studying with and learning from some amazing teachers, both directly and indirectly.

I'd like to take this moment to list our some of the teachers who I have learnt the most from, who deeply influence my own work and who have guided me on this journey to where I am today.

LucyBloom - Authentic Tantra Yoga Teacher, Moon Lover & Mystic

She has been my primary teacher as I took my love of yoga to a professional level and I'm in honour of her dedication to teaching yoga authentically.

Liz McDonald of Ssh..Soul Sanctuary

On my 30th Birthday in the middle of lock-down, I joined an online women's circle led by Liz and I felt like I came home to myself.  Her meditation groups and guidance was a key step in me rediscovering the energetic and intuitive aspect of me and my work.

Alexandra Pope & Sjane Hugo-Wurlitzer of The Red School

Reading the book Wild Power opened my mind to Menstrual Cycle Awareness and using our cycles and the moon cycle as a form of cyclical spirituality and inner power . Their work and my time spent learning with them has deeply informed my way of working and my own connection to my own Feminine Leadership.

Mari Kennedy of The Celtic Wheel

Journeying through Mari's Celtic Wheel allowed by embody my Celtic roots and the ancient wisdom of the land around us. For me this was the next step in moving from working with my internal cycles to working with the bigger cycles around me.
